Babies & toddlers have their own special play space and time in our Studio. Welcome to our Playroom, where babies receive the same level of attention and interaction as they develop their senses and strengthen their bodies through music-filled movement and exploration!
We offer ways to welcome you and your baby into our Martial Arts Studio Family:
Mommy and Me Classes: Time for Baby & Caregiver to explore and create!
Separation Childcare: Time for Mommy can get her fitness on!
Open Playspace: Time for Baby to get a change of scenery with the freedom to explore!

MOMMY & ME MUSICAL THEATRE

0 – 2 YEARS OLD

Our studio offers something for every single member of your family! Come experience joy in this interactive puppet show & music jam session! Sing along with your favorite hit songs from stage and film, jam to nursery rhymes, practice sign language, read some books, and have a huge party! Your little one is guaranteed to learn some new things and dance it out in this performance based class. Involves exposure to rhythmic and academic skills. (30 minute class with 15 minutes of play)

MOMMY & ME Movement

 IN PERSON (1 – 2.5 YEARS OLD)

Get your moving babe into our main studio to explore and play! Featuring music, dance, movement, and more our movement class will provide the time and space for your little one to develop the physical skills they need to get around the world. This equipment based class is led by one of our playroom professionals and includes 15 minutes of free play in our main studio space!

Family Music Class

2.5 – 5 YEARS OLD

SING! PLAY! LEARN! This one of a kind music class has something for all ages! We recommend starting this class once your child is walking and talking. To help transition into drop-off classes, we require a caregiver in the room until they are 3.5 years old and then drop-off is optional. Using song, dance, yoga, games, and more– this class introduces basic music theory, help to strengthen your child’s listening skills, and encourages them to create with their own imaginations.  (30 minute class with 15 minutes of play)

DROP OFF LITTLE STARS THEATRE CLASS

 (5 -7 YEARS OLD)

Join the MAFS Playroom in the newest addition to our programming: Little Stars Theatre Class! Taught by working New York City actors, your little stars will start to develop both the physical and emotional skills needed to excel in musical theatre performance. Classes are in person, 45 minutes, and are drop off only. Each class includes dance, song, and imagination story telling to aid your children in developing confidence and charisma as they prepare for their big moment in the spotlight. (45 minute class)

SEPARATION CHILDCARE

ALL AGES!

As mothers, we understand the necessity of peace-of-mind for true self-care. That’s why we created a Music-Based Separation Program in our brand new Toddler Playspace, conveniently located adjacent to & viewable from your class.
Ideal for new walkers and soon-to-be-walkers.

THEATRE CAMPS

(3-7 Years old)

Our camps are taught by professional New York City actors and childcare enthusiasts. Campers will spend the day practicing their acting, singing, and dancing! They can expect to learn some basic dance technique, play imagination driven acting games, practice professional style vocal warm ups, further develop their teamwork skills, and they will also explore other artistic activities such as yoga, improv, technical theatre education, and even set design to round out the week!
